Welcome to the first w class in 2023. I have had my watercolors sitting in the corner of my shelf for a long time now and finally decided to take them out and dice into the world of watercolors. I feel like painting with watercolors is like magic and such a therapeutic process. Keeping the therapeutic part in mind I am excited to bring you a super fun 5 days watercolor challenge. It’s a short and simple class and each class project will only take about 30 minutes of your time.
I know a lot of you sometimes have trouble understanding water control and find watercolors a tough medium to work with. Don’t worry because I have designed this class in a way that you can join in even if you’re a complete beginner and if you’re someone with basic knowledge about watercolors then join in for some therapeutic painting sessions. The main goal for this class is to stop f on the final outcome and stressing about getting a perfect painting and rather focusing on enjoying the process of painting and l watercolors help you destress and relax.
In this class we will be covering all the basics needed to get started with watercolors, we will explore some techniques so that you get comfortable with the medium as well as it will be easier for you to follow the class projects. And using this basic knowledge we’ll paint 5 gorgeous landscapes together.
This class is not only going to help you ease into watercolors but also help you relax and understand the art of not controlling your final outcomes and rather e the journey. B the end of the class you’ll have 5 beautiful paintings with you and you’ll be tempted to try out more paintings!
Materials you need for this class :
- Watercolor tubes/pans.
- Watercolor paper. 300gsm 100% Cotton Papers work best for watercolors.
- Round Brushes Size 2,4,8,12.
- Mixing palette
- Masking tape
- 2 jars of water
- Cloth rag/tissues
