The term “de-flash” was told to me after another fellow photographer viewed some of my twilight/city light images. They stated that the images do not look like I used flash at all. Sometimes I do, and sometimes I do not. The beauty of it all is that my images have remained consistent.
There are a few things that I dislike when using a one-light set up. That can be with OCF, or if I am using a street lamp as a key light. In this tutorial, I will show you how I remove that “OCF” look with the final look showing ambient light free flowing around the subject.
If you find that you have dull looking twilight images, then this tutorial is perfect for you….regardless if you use off camera flash or not.
